A-Train’s Presta Valve Fender Mount

My friend and DIY overlord Anthony sent me over some pics of his solution for mounting the front of his fender. The bike frame didn't have a chainstay bridge, so he improvised with a tube, zip ties, and presta valve nut. Check it out:

I would recommend some loctite on that. When I tried to get creative with a valve/fender solution, the fender nuts rattled loose very often.

Why not just strap the fender to the seattube… The valve/nut system seems redundant.
