The latest installment of Tech Tuesdays on BikeShopGirl.com features trailside/roadside fixes (fixing a flat, busted spoke, and chain). I'm a big fan of the clever emergency fix—amazing things can be done with zip ties and tape. Maybe my favorite is to use a dollar bill as a tire boot for a blown-out sidewall. On a related note, our own trailside fixer was recently featured in Dirt Rag:
